While walking through the newly restored 200th block of Caac Street, I noticed there is no historical marker for one of the last remaining wooden roads in America. My goal was to create a mural that gives insight into the long and important history of the block. A marketing campaign promoting the street's newly finished restoration will give it the attention it deserves and help protect it.
